Eggs from each row and tier of the layer cages are automatically conveyed to the front vertical egg collecting machine. The automatic egg collecting system consists of an egg inlet unit, collecting device, guide outlet unit, buffer structure, conveying mechanism, sprocket gears and lifting chains.

The egg collecting system operates with multiple parallel egg claw assemblies mounted on each lifting chain. Each egg claw assembly is composed of several egg claws connected in series via coupling shafts. Both ends of every egg claw assembly are fitted with side blocks to prevent eggs from slipping off the coupling shafts, and the side blocks are fixed onto the lifting chains by side fasteners.

The automatic egg collecting equipment can be installed on one side or both sides of the conveyor along the running direction of the conveyor's transmission chain.
