A monolithic battery with metal ion chemistry is used in the test to measure the pressure that is applied to the appliance's shell when the battery vents as a result of a problem. to assess the battery's case's casing strength.

Test Principle: Increase the pressure using a booster pump, watch the pipeline-connected pressure sensor, and immediately report the pressure measurement.
